Porkchops and gravy. Served with mashed potatoes and corn. Yummy!! This was a comfort food as I was growing up. Now my children gobble it up. Not sure if it tastes as good as Mom's though.

um, YUM! You know you will have to post the recipes also...tonight we are having chicken pot pie, my mom made it, using your recipe. thanks, it's one of my favorites!
It is the best potpie recipe ever. I wonder if Lori Barney is still eating every other week. As for the porkchops and gravy, it's not a written recipe. It's just a fry them in margarine (scary I know), make a gravy and them have them simmer in the gravy for a few hours on low heat in the crockpot or in the oven. Cooking for a fewh hours allows the juices to really soak into the gravy and makes it yummy. Before it simmers, the gravy doesn't have much flavor.
